In this section of the survey we were asked for our views on the parish environment and what renewable energy facilities we have :

First we were asked about the importance of various aspects of the parish environment :

We clearly value the Peasmarsh environment.

We were then asked what part(s) of the parish should be given special protection. 111 people answered but many just reiterated their answers to the first question [e.g. 63 of us nominated green and/or open spaces].

Specific locations that were mentioned included up at the church / Peasmarsh Place [6] and the recreation ground [6].

A similar number mentioned the High Weald AONB and the green belt but, judging from the responses, there seem to be some misconceptions about both.

Finally, we were asked what renewable energy systems we had. Everybody answered but only a few of us have any such systems :
